You may have noticed that I have been extra quiet here on my blog lately. That would be because I have been focused on finishing strong for my last week of my integrative nutrition course. It has been a challenging, yet rewarding year and I am so excited to be so close to graduation. I have one more final exam that I will be taking on Monday. I will try to share more highlights soon.
I know this is not the best picture or best lighting, but I have had these pictures for weeks now and I wanted to share the progress I have made with these beautiful rustic frames I picked up at Hobby Lobby for 40% off. I love the way they turned out! With the discount, they came out to be $12 ea.
Along with the $12 barnwood frames, I found these $4.00 vintage magazine pages at our local antique shop (unfortunately they just closed due to retirement) and I picked up these saw tooth wall hangers from Tractor Supply. They cost between $2-$3.
Super simple and a nice bang for your buck kind-of-a-project. Right up my alley with our super crazy schedule these past months. I just measured the pages and cut them down to size.
Then I placed the cardboard backing back on and hammered the saw tooth wall hangers on the back at the center of the frame and voila! Instant one-of-a-kind artwork for our rustic farmhouse family room. Now if I could just make time to hang it up on the wall. (smile) I hope that you are enjoying some beautiful fall weather where you are. Just in case you didn’t know, Fall is my all time favorite time of the year.
Until next time, blessings to you and yours,
Isaiah 26:3-4
