DiY Drop Cloth Slipcover & Toile Pillow Covers
I appreciate keeping things simple around the hollow and I love saving money. You will often see me reuse, repurpose, or shop our own farmhouse before I venture out to shop at the local thrift stores, antique shops, or at the online yard sales. This room was originally a one room farmhouse and has been added on to over the years.
Before
The old yellow walls have since been replaced with a fresh coat of a neutral paint color. We are in the process of another upgrade to this space and I can’t wait to share more details.
DiY After
I purchased this wingback chair for $20 on an online yard sale site. The seller even delivered it to our rental door at the time. (score) This piece also got a DiY drop cloth slipcover. I made the Farmhouse sign this fall and my father built the step stool and the tool caddy. I painted a $15 side table with Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint in “Farmhouse White” and the spring wreath was made by my talented IG friend, Jessica @the.accidental.farmgirl.
Before
Here you can see the before picture of the Buffalo Check table cloth fabric (purchased on line at Boscov’s for about $15-$16 each, which is currently on sale now for $12.99) that I turned into easy curtain panels. It was an easy straight cut and hem-type of project and only cost about $45 to make all 6 panels. I hung them up with some curtain clip rings that we already had. We also replaced the windows and the front door for better insulating factors. Lots more DIY projects currently in the works!

Simple Entry Table
I love how this old sofa table helps define this entry way space. It serves as a great drop zone for keys and mail when we need it. Here it is all decked out for winter.
I appreciate you stopping by and look forward to you stopping by again soon!
